(Bloomberg) -- The euro-area economy can’t catch a break, with a string of reports painting a gloomy picture. Two days after German industrial-production numbers sparked talk that the region’s biggest economy could be headed for a recession, French data showed a surprise 1.3 percent fall in industry output in November. That left production down an annual 2.1 percent, the most in four years.
