IDBI Federal Life Insurance launched an online tool where one can audit physical and financial fitness. The company partnered with cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, for the ‘Keep Moving’ initiative on Wednesday.
“As a batsman, I say that until and unless we are fit, we cannot think of handling hurdles on the ground. We are a sport-loving nation and not a sport-playing nation but if the scenario is reversed, we can dominate any country in sports,” Mr. Tendulkar said at the event. Indians aspire to a healthy lifestyle, but financial fitness stays lower on their list of priorities, he said.
“Through this movement, we aspire to change the mindsets of Indians by redefining their idea of fitness. We hope to create awareness among them that in order to truly live the lifestyle of their choice, they need to focus on both physical and financial fitness,” he said.
Vighnesh Shahane, Managing Director and CEO of IDBI Federal Life Insurance said that the fitness test can be accessed on www.keepmovingindia.com. The test gives scores after a short assessment. It further advises people on the areas they need to work upon.
