Police probe early morning break-ins at Perth motorbike dealerships
Police are investigating if two break-ins at southern suburbs motorbike dealerships within an hour early on Thursday morning are linked, while it remains unclear if anything was actually stolen.
The first break-in came about 3am, when a group of people entered a dealership on Dixon Road, in Rockingham.
Police said “a number of people” entered the store before leaving in a vehicle. Officers attending a short time later found a motorbike from the store at the front of the dealership.
The same group is suspected to have been responsible for a second break-in in Hamilton Hill less than an hour later.
The Hamilton Hill break-in took place about 3.50am at a Rockingham Road dealership, which police say was “thoroughly searched” before the group left the area.
Again, when officers attended they found a bike from the dealership out the front of the premises.
Police are continuing to investigate if the incidents are linked and are still trying to figure out if anything was stolen from either dealership.
