Matt lafleur along with his wife and two sons landed in green bay last night a little after eight-o- clock.

This afternoon he officially gets introduced as the 15th head coach in packers history.

In matt lafleur's decade of being an nfl assistant he's gotten the best out of many of the quarterbacks he has worked with.

A former quarterback himself... he coached r-g-3 during his outstanding rookie season in washington... also developing kirk cousins during his four-years there.... coached matt ryan to an nfl mvp season in 2016... and worked with jared goff the following year in what was a breakthrough season for him.

Now it's future hall of famer aaron rodgers... and we know how his relationship ended with his past head coach.

"you know what i'm so focused on moving forward.

All i really care about at this point is developing a relationship with him and i think we are both on the same page.

We are committed to winning there's no doubt about it.

He's a competitor and i can not wait to get started with him."

Lafleur saying that he will call the offensive plays as head coach of the packers.

He also adds that even though much will be made about his relationship with rodgers, that it's important to be in constant communication with the 52 other players on the roster as well.
