Remember when Alec Baldwin signed on for 30 Rock and everyone was shocked that a movie star would stoop to such lows? Well, I don't know if you've heard, but TV is kind of a big deal these days. Julia Roberts, Jim Carrey, Meryl Streep -- everyone's got a TV show nowadays. Apparently not wanting to be left out, Al Pacino is the latest film legend making the jump to episodic storytelling.

The Godfather star is nearing a deal to star opposite Logan Lerman in The Hunt, a 10-episode Amazon series executive-produced by Jordan Peele, Deadline reports.

Set in 1977, The Hunt tells the story of a group of Nazi hunters who set out to stop a group of high ranking Nazi officials from creating a Fourth Reich in America. Pacino would play the Nazi hunter mentor of Jonah Heidelbaum (Lerman), who gets caught up in the organization while seeking vengeance on the unknown assailant who murdered his grandmother.

This won't be Pacino's first foray into television; he stared in the HBO films Paterno, Phil Spector and You Don't Know Jack, as well as the HBO miniseries Angels in America. However, this would mark Pacino's first starring role in an ongoing series.
