JEE Main 2019 Day 2 exam analysis: Students' feedback on Physics, Chemistry and Maths sections

NEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the second day examination of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2019) today, January 10, 2019. The first exam of JEE Main 2019 January session was held on January 9, 2019.

The Paper 1 exam started at 9:30 am and concluded at 12:30 pm. The students who appeared for Paper 1 on the 2nd day of JEE Main 2019 examination revealed that Physics section was moderately tough. Mathematics section was tough as expected by many. Some students found Chemistry questions confusing.

Some of the students said that they found Mathematics section tougher. Yesterday also, the students and experts suggested that mathematics was toughest and Chemistry was the easier of the three. While others said that Chemistry was toughest of all three.


Most of the students who appeared for the JEE Main exam today said that Physics section of Paper 1 was moderately tough compared to the Chemistry and Mathematics. The questions asked in Physics section were tricky.


Just like yesterday, JEE Main 2019 Exam Day 2 students also felt that Chemistry was the most comfortable section out of three.


The Paper 1 in JEE Main 2019 is being held for B.E. /B. Tech. admission. The Paper 1 is completely "Computer Based Test (CBT)" mode. The Paper-2 of JEE Main 2019 January exam is being held for B. Arch/B.Planning admission. For Paper 2, Mathematics-(Part I) and Aptitude Test-(Part II) are held in "Computer Based Test (CBT)" mode while Drawing Test - (Part III) is being conducted in "Pen & Paper" (offline) mode.
