San Francisco Doggy Daycare Charging Up To $1,500 Prompts Growls From Residents

San Francisco is an expensive city to live in and one doggie day care has come under fire for their pricey puppy pet-store.??The Guardian reports when signs for the boutique pet store and doggie day care center, Doggy Style started showing up??In Noe Valley neighborhood, residents were stunned to find out pet owners can have an ??“innovative dog experience” for the skyhigh price of up to $1,500 a month.??One San Fran resident posted a screenshot of the prices on Twitter, many weren’t having it.

??“1k per month?!!

Might as well get another room in your apt.” Said one user.

??And one simply asked “Is this a joke?!”??The top-tier membership on Doggy Style’s website, cheekily called ‘The Dog Wears Prada’??Has such lavish amenities as a “Private Doggy Birthday party with 12 furry friends and their humans”??And a “Mural of Your Pup Featured On Our “Wall of Fame” as Painted by Local Artist.”??However, co-owners Cameron Silva and Rachel Swann defended their business in a December interview with S-F Gate.

??Saying the business will have a community based mission like adoption events and to donate part of their revenue to animal charities.

??But I dunno paying over a grand for a doggie day-care seems a little far-fetched.
