The second day of the two-day bandh called by the trade unions had no impact here on Wednesday. The private service buses functioned as usual to Mangaluru, Karkala, Kundapur and Byndoor. The KSRTC buses too were functioning. The city buses were plying as usual.
It’s business as usual for shops and other business establishments. The District Administration had already announced on Tuesday that there would be no holiday for schools and colleges in Udupi district on Wednesday. Autorickshaws and taxis were also functioning normally.
