Former India cricketer and ex-Baroda coach Jacob Martin met with an accident and is in the hospital.

The nature of the accident and severity of the injuries are not known yet.
Martin, 46, played 10 One-Day Internationals for India between 1999 and 2001. He scored a total of 158 runs at an average of 22.57, with a highest score of 39. He played 138 first-class matches, mainly for Baroda and partially for Railways, scoring 9192 runs at 46.65. He retired from the game towards the end of 2009.
He was also Baroda's coach for the 2016-17 season.
