Dry days: Tasmac liquor shops to remain closed in Madurai on three days this month

MADURAI: Tasmac liquor shops in Madurai will remain closed for three days this month, according to a press release issued by Madurai district collector S Natarajan.
The collector said all Tasmac shops would be closed on January 16 in view of Thiruvalluvar Day, on January 21 on account of Vallalar Ninanivu Naal and on January 26 in view of Republic Day.
People selling liquor on these says would be punished, the released added.
