The Guards, 25 Infantry Battalion (Territorial Army), would carry out recruitment rally for the posts of soldier (general duty), soldier clerk (SD), soldier (hair dresser), soldier (washerman), soldier chef (community), soldier (chef special) and soldier (mess keeper) in 123 Infantry Battalion (TA) at Secunderabad from January 28 to February 3.
The rally is for candidates of Zone IV comprising Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Gujarat and Goa States and the Union Territories of Pondicherry, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Lakshadweep.
Document verification and physical fitness test for candidates from all the districts of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh would commence at 5 a.m. on January 28 at 1105, Railway Engineer (Territorial Army), Moulali, for soldier (general duty and tradesmen) vacancies.
For candidates from Rajasthan and Maharashtra, the screening would be on January 29 and for those from Kerala, Karnataka, Gujarat, Goa and the Union Territories of Pondicherry, Dadar and Nagar Haveli, Daman and Diu and Lakshadweep, it would be held on January 30.
Candidates should be between 18 to 42 years of age on the date of recruitment. Educational qualification for GD soldier is class-10 pass with 45% aggregate marks and 33% in each subject and for soldier clerk, it is 10+2 pass with 60% aggregate marks and 50% marks in each subject, while for tradesman, it is class-10 pass.
