Nagpur: Fire breaks out at under-construction hospital, 3 critical

NAGPUR: A fire broke out at an under-construction multi-storey hospital on Kingsway Road in Nagpur on Wednesday.
About 10 fire tenders managed to control the fire after which a search and rescue operation was launched.
The fire was reported at the second floor of the seven-storey building.
Sources said about 200 workers were inside the building when the fire broke out. Most of the people came out on their own.
Firemen evacuated seven people of which three are reported to be serious.
"Fire has been controlled now, search operation is underway. The fire could have been caused due to a short circuit as construction work was underway at the building," news agency ANI quoted fire officer Sunil Raut as saying.
