Israel Ready to Confront Foreign Cyber Attacks in April Elections

The head of Israeli internal security has warned that a foreign country plans to meddle in the vote

TEL AVIV—Israel is prepared to prevent any foreign attempts to interfere in its April elections, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Wednesday, after the head of Israel’s internal security agency warned that a foreign country intends to meddle in the vote.

“Israel is ready to foil any cyber intervention,” Mr. Netanyahu said Wednesday at a meeting of his Likud party at Israel’s parliament. “We are ready for any incident, and there is no country more prepared than we are.”
