The 62-year-old man allegedly assaulted the woman, 38, in October last year while going round to her house in Port Macquarie to care for her.
The incident was reported to police in November.

A 62-year-old man attended Port Macquarie Police station where he was arrested. He was charged with aggravated sexual assault.
The man was refused bail to appear in Port Macquarie Local Court today.
