Drag race on a suburban street with a 50km/hr speed limit ends abruptly when Porsche slams into a stationary car and hoon driving Lexus speeds off
- The drag race between a Lexus driver and Porsche driver lasted mere seconds
- The Porsche rear-ended another car which was stationary directly in front of it
- The entire scene was captured on dash-cam footage by a car behind them
A drag race between two cars on a suburban street ended when a Porsche went speeding into the back of another car waiting for a break in traffic to turn right.
The dangerous street race, sparked after the pair were stopped at a traffic light, ended after just a few seconds when the Porsche collided with a stationary car.
The entire scene was captured on dash-cam footage by a car behind the two vehicles, which were at a set of lights Sackville Street in Canley Vale, in Sydney's south-west.

'These two knobs decided to have a drag race and the Porsche driver ended up rear ending the Toyota, which had been waiting patiently to make a right turn until it got rear ended,' the owner of the footage said.
'Both Toyota and Porsche stopped to exchange details.'
But the driver of the luxury Lexus continued speed off after the incident.
The decision to keep driving was met with mixed responses by social media users, some of whom thought the driver was obliged to stop and provide details, considering he was a witness to the accident.
'I think I see Lexus braking/slowing down just after the Porsche smacks into the Toyota,' one user wrote.

'He was witness to the accident so he/she should stop but they'd also incriminate themselves'.
'Lexus knew, he was intentionally running him out of road,' another added.
But others came to the defense of the driver.
'The Lexus driver is under no obligation whatsoever to stop. They were in no way involved with the accident.'
'Irrefutable proof that money doesn't buy you intelligence,' another added.
