Schemes and Programmes to be executed from District level

Chronicle Reporter, Bhopal, The Chief Secretary Sudhi Ranjan Mohanty said that Government schemes and programmes will be executed from district level. District Collectors and Superintendents of Police will be accountable to ensure implementation in transparent manner within time limit and for law and order respectively.

Mohanty was addressing the Divisional Commissioners, District Collectors and Superintendents of Police through video conferencing at Mantralaya today. He mentioned that along with the law and order, electricity and water supply will be monitored daily now from the state level.

He gave instructions to the collectors to conduct maximum tour of their respective districts and to keep themselves updated with the status of implementation of schemes.

Mohanty said that Collectors and SPs must maintain mutual coordination in connection to food and civil supplies, health, education and potable water arrangements in districts.

Amount to be transferred in Loan accounts of farmers from February 22

The CS Mohanty asserted that Mukhyamantri Fasal Rin Maafi Yojana will be implemented in the form of campaign at district level in coordination of all the departments in guidance of Collectors. District level committees have been constituted in this regard. For the scheme linked with approximately 55 lakh farmers of the state, adhaar seeding will begin from January 8 and amount will be transferred in loan accounts of farmers through DBT from February 22.

Vaccination Campaign from January 15 to February 15

A presentation in connection to implementation of Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign to be conducted from January 15 to February 15 was given during the video conference. Vaccination of 2.25 crore children aged between 9 months and 15 years is to be done under the campaign.

Status of potable water in districts affected from low rainfall, arrangement of school level examinations besides MNREGA, school uniform work given to Women Self Help Groups and works related to 14th Finance Commission were also reviewed during the conference.

Moreover, besides Law and Order, Mukhya Mantri Fasal Rin Maafi Yojana, Measles and Rubella Vaccination Campaign, Potable water arrangements in rural and urban areas, activities related to examination under the School Education and issues related to Panchayat and Rural Development were reviewed.
