She's often associated with health and wellness, but according to Elle Macpherson, her clean-living lifestyle can sometimes be problematic.
Elle, who last year launched a variety of health elixirs through her company, WelleCo, has admitted too much juicing is not without its pitfalls.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, the 54-year-old supermodel shared a photo of herself getting her teeth checked at the dentist.

She told her fans: 'Because I juice a lot my teeth need cleaning more often to get juice stains off. Good to start the year fresh.'

In a blog on her company's website, Elle revealed she begins every day with a nutritious juice.

'Filtered water and 2 heaped teaspoons of a lemon juice or a green juice packed with vegetables and lemon juice,' she told WelleCo of her drink of choice.
Elle also follows it up in the afternoon with a protein smoothie.
In an interview with mindbodygreen in December, Elle said a health scare a few years ago lead her to take a vested interest in her diet after consulting with a nutritionist.

'I told her that I was not feeling like myself, that my energy level was not what it usually is, my skin was dry, and something wasn't working,' she explained.
'She told me that it's not just about what kind of foods you eat; it's also about what's happening when the food is in your body.'
Following the meeting, Elle said she then got hooked on drinking green juices: 'It's a great meal replacement or healthy snack.'
