AHMEDABAD: Visiting the staff canteen was a filthy pain for staff members of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) last weekend, as a choked up drainage line right next to the canteen was overflowing. Top sources at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International (SVPI) airport said that the line began overflowing from Saturday, spreading a foul smell.
"The problem was resolved on Monday," said a source. "The line was cleaned." A senior AAI official, on the condition of anonymity, said that there have been no reports of drainage and water connections being impacted in the terminal building of the airport.
