Celebrity makeup artist Vardan Nayak who recently did Isha Ambani’s makeup at her wedding received Wedding Sutra’s Top Celebrity Bridal Makeup award. The awards took place at a plush hotel in Mumbai amidst the top notches of the hair and makeup industry.
Vardan expressed his gratitude and happiness by saying, “It feels literally amazing to receive any award for what you love doing the most. I have been working in this industry for quite a long time and have seen the industry grow altogether. It feels amazing to receive this pride and I would heartily thank all the jury members and team wedding sutra for trusting in me and looking at my capabilities and honouring me with this pride.”
Vardan felt proud of getting nominated in the same category as that of his boss Mickey Contractor, he expressed, “Above all I would like to thank my boss, my mentor- Mickey Sir for trusting in me and giving me an opportunity to stand on my feet. I am what I am because of him.”
Vardan has also worked with top bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt, Anushka Sharma, Rani Mukherjee, Madhuri Dixit, Jacqueline Fernandez, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Pandey to name a few. Currently, he is busy with his next project- Shamsheera, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vani Kapoor.
