School boy dies in accident

Representative imageVADODARA: A school student was killed and two others injured when a six-seater rickshaw they were travelling in met with an accident near Lunawada in Mahisagar district on Wednesday morning.
The accident took place near the Hoseliya crossroads when the driver of the autorickshaw lost control and the vehicle turned over. The rickshaw was privately owned and was being used by the school to ferry students as well as staff, sources said.
The boy who died in the accident has been identified as Indrajit Chauhan. Another girl Archana Sevak and a teacher were also injured in the accident. Other students travelling in the vehicle survived with minor injuries. The injured student and teacher were rushed to a government hospital at Lunawada for treatment.
