Bus falls into trench, 7 injured on Agra-Lucknow expressway

AGRA: At least a dozen passengers were injured, after a private bus heading New Delhi from Lucknow with over 30 people onboard plunged into a trough on Agra-Lucknow expressway.
The accident took place on Tuesday early morning at around 2:30 am near Alampur village under Karhal police jurisdiction of Mainpuri district. In the accident, seven people sustained critical injuries and were admitted to the local government hospital.
According to sub inspector Amit Singh, (acting) station house officer of Karhal, "The accident occurred after the driver of made an attempt to overtake a truck."
