A 45-year-old woman was killed while taking bath as a car rammed the bathroom wall of a roadside house in Gowlidoddi on early Monday morning, police said.
The wall collapsed on the woman, Toldi Madhu Bai (45) and she succumbed to injuries at Continental Hospital in the area.
The accused, Mohd. Ikram Ali, a former tele-caller with an MNC, hit the divider opposite a government school and a stationary scooter near the woman’s house before crashing into the wall, said Gachibowli inspector R. Srinivas. Ali, a resident of Tolichowki, was returning home from a party. He tested positive on a breathalyser and was arrested.
