Man, wife found hanging in house
Jan 9, 2019, 00:21 ISTTirupur: A 32-year-old man and his 24-year-old wife were found hanging from the ceiling of their house at Mahalakshmi Nagar South Street at Palladam on Tuesday.
The victims, V Balakrishnan and Thangamani, had married one-and-a-half years ago, police sources said. “Balakrishnan was working in a knitwear unit. Their neighbours found them hanging from the ceiling of their bedroom on Tuesday morning. Frequent quarrel over the man’s alcoholic addiction could have led to the incident,” a police officer said.
Palladam police sent the bodies to the Palladam Government Hospital for postmortem. They are investigating the incident.
