One person was reported killed, and several injured, after two trains collided head on Tuesday at a station in Pretoria, one of South Africa's three capitals.
The fatality has been confirmed, News24 said quoting a Metrorail spokesperson.
An emergency medical service said reports showed between 100 and 150 patients.

Yusuf Abramjee, a journalist, said on Twitter that the injured were being treated by paramedics or were taken to hospitals.
