Missing man booked after wife’s plaint

GREATER NOIDA: A 24-year-old woman has accused her husband of abandoning her after harassing for dowry and assaulting her. However, on November 20, he left her and their nine-month-old daughter alone in a rented flat in Gaur City housing society in Bisrakh.
According to cops, the accused identified as Dilshad Saqlaini (30) belongs to Jadonpur village in Bareilly. As per an FIR filed by his wife Aisha alias Lalitha on December 28, she had been in a relationship with the accused since 2015 and married him on September 12, 2018 after converting to Islam.
“He used to create scenes in public to humiliate me. Once he disrobed me outside the house and later dragged me inside and assaulted me. Once he tried to strangle me with the wire of a laptop charger. He also used to force me to have unnatural sex. On November 20, he left home with Rs 1.5 lakh cash and my gold ring,” she said in the complaint. SHO, Bisrakh police station, Anil Kumar Shai said raids being conducted to nab him.
