Kalka-Shimla toy train catches fire, all passengers safe

SHIMLA: A fire broke out in the engine of Kalka-Shimla toy train in Solan on Tuesday. The fire was successfully doused and all the passengers were moved away to safety.
Train No 52455 (Himlayan Queen) plying between Kumarhati and Saharanpur on Kalka-Shimla heritage section carrying 200 passengers in its seven coaches caught fire.
The fire was swiftly doused by the driver and the train engine was switched.
The passengers were subsequently taken to Shimla.
