Suspect sought in Fall River stabbing

FALL RIVER - Fall River Police are seeking a suspect in a Jan. 5 stabbing at Ship's Cove Apartments.

An active arrest warrant exists for Patrick Theriault, 22, homeless, who is wanted on the following charges: armed assault with intent to murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing substantial injury.

On Jan. 5, at approximately 11:30 p.m., Fall River Police responded to Ship’s Cove Apartments, at 130 Canal St., for a report of a stabbing. Officers located a 37-year-old man

who was critically injured. The victim was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and is currently in serious condition.
