Nifty January 2019 futures at premium

Turnover on the National Stock Exchange's futures & options (F&O) segment was Rs 7.28 lakh crore compared with Rs 5.40 lakh crore reported in the previous session.

In the cash market, the Nifty 50 index rose 30.35 points or 0.28% to settle at 10,802.15.

ICICI Bank, State Bank of India and Axis Bank were the top traded individual stock futures contracts in F&O segment of NSE.

ICICI Bank January 2019 futures traded at 380.20, compared with spot closing price of 379.30. State Bank of India January 2019 futures traded at 306.40, compared with spot closing price of 305.50. Axis Bank January 2019 futures traded at 653.75, compared with spot closing price of 652.15.

The January 2019 F&O contracts expire on 31 January 2019.
