IPS Kumar Rajesh Chandra appointed as Director-General of SSB

New Delhi: A 1985 batch IPS officer, Kumar Rajesh Chandra, on Tuesday has been appointed as the Director General of the (DG) Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).

Bihar cadre IPS, Rajesh Chandra will succeed S.S. Deswal.

“The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Shri Kumar Rajesh Chandra, IPS (BH:85), presently working as DG, BCAS to the post of DG, SSB from the date of joining of the post and upto 31.12.2021 i.e. date of his retirement on superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier,” read the official statement.
