Cold conditions continued to prevail in many places of and on Tuesday.

Fog reduced visibility in the morning in places like Ludhiana, Adampur, Halwara, Bathinda, and

near Jalandhar was the coldest place in the two states with a minimum temperature of 5.3 degrees Celsius, meteorological department officials said.

In Punjab, Gurdaspur recorded a low of 5.8 degrees Celsius, settled at normal minimum temperature of 5.6 degrees, 7 degrees, and recorded 9.1 degrees and 7.9 degrees Celsius respectively, officials said.

Chandigarh recorded a low of 6.7 degrees Celsius.

In Haryana, Narnaul and recorded 6 degrees Celsius each, settled 7.6 degrees, Bhiwani and Sirsa recorded 7.7 degrees Celsius each.
