High-profile model Annalise Braakensiek made a tragic Instagram post just days before she died - while being haunted by demons which friends say also claimed the life of another glamorous star.
Ms Braakensiek was found dead in her Sydney apartment about 3.30pm on Sunday after friends and family became concerned for her when she stopped replying to their messages.
Her death followed a series of cryptic social media posts, including one in which she paid tribute to those who had supported her during a 'challenging year'.
'The rest you know who you are. I love you. Beyond. Including my bestie in heaven. A day doesn't go by when I don't think about you,' she posted.
She also wrote that she was 'hanging in there by the hair on my chinny chin chin'.
Ms Braakensiek's battle with depression has been compared to New Zealand-born model and Australia's Next Top Model TV presenter Charlotte Dawson, who died by suicide in February 2014.

Studio 10 celebrity commentator Craig Bennett said Ms Braakensiek's mental health issues were in contrast to her seemingly confident and glamorous personality.
'Everybody saw her as this absolutely gorgeous soul, still modelling bikinis until recently. Very much like Charlotte Dawson, there was another side to Annalise and it was just a sadness,' he told the Daily Telegraph.
In December, Ms Braakensiek made a reflective post looking back on her year in 2018.
'Sheesh it's been a challenging year for so many of us, am I right?!?! My biggest challenge was not having my own home (for a year now) !!!!?!!' she wrote.
'I am uber grateful for all the legends who have taken me under their wings this past year, and into their hearts and homes.'

'A dear friend will kindly fly me over for some R&R to spend time with my American tribe I haven't seen in way too many years,' she told Daily Mail Australia at the time.
The TV personality, who described her 16 years with Danny as 'amazing', did not reveal what prompted the breakup.
