A person has been flown to hospital following an 'incident' at a property in Bagillt.

The Wales Air Ambulance flew the casualty to Aintree University Hospital in Liverpool following the incident on Sevenacre Close this morning.

Several ambulances and police cars descended on the Flintshire street this morning.

A North Wales Police spokesman said they were called due to 'concerns for safety' of an individual.

The Wales Air Ambulance later landed on the street, with emergency crews focusing on a property on the road.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We received a call at 8.45am today to an incident on Sevenacre Close, Bagillt.

"We responded with an air ambulance emergency car, an air ambulance and two emergency ambulances.

"One patient has been transported by air to Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool."

Their condition is not known.
