'What do I do again?' It's Manic Monday for commuters as staff moan about returning to work after two weeks off for Christmas

  • Some Brits are heading back to work today after Christmas and New Year break
  • Workers are sharing their struggle to get out of bed and face the long day ahead
  • People readjusting to getting up early in the morning and eating a healthy diet

Britons are struggling with back-to-work blues today as they get back to the grind after the Christmas holidays.

Some workers have been off since Friday, December 21 - so are grappling with an early morning wake-up call after more than two weeks.

As the Christmas and New Year festivities finally come to an end, many beleaguered workers have taken to social media to share their woes on what has been dubbed 'Blue Monday'.

Commuters are also bracing themselves for the controversial rail fare hike as they make their way to work.

Tweeting about their struggle to get out of bed, get dressed in anything besides pyjamas, and begin a new year health kick, many cannot remember how to do their job or perform basic tasks, as they whine their way into 2019.
