Bizman held for sending obscene clips to employee
Jan 7, 2019, 23:24 ISTCoimbatore: Police on Sunday arrested the owner of an interior designing firm, who allegedly sent obscene videos and messages to a woman employee.
A Moses of LGB Nagar at Ganapathy had targeted the 21-year-old woman, who had joined the firm at Athipalayam Pirivu six days ago, police sources said. “The woman, a native of Karur, was working as a system operator. The 37-year-old man sent obscene messages and videos to her WhatsApp and sought physical intimacy. He also offered her money. Unable to bear the torture, the woman quit the job. However, the man continued to send her obscene videos,” a police officer said.
The woman lodged a complaint with Saravanampatti police, who registered a case against Moses under sections 75 (1) (c) of Tamil Nadu City Police act, 354 D, 506 (i) of Indian Penal Code and read with section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998.
Moses was remanded in judicial custody and lodged in the Coimbatore Central Prison.
