Golden Globes LIVE: All the action from the red carpet and the ceremony

Gaga's 'Blue period'

Possibly the most anticipated arrival of the night, Lady Gaga has arrived as ... a Smurf.

This is relationship goals

Find a partner who will fix your train like Justin Hartley adjusts Chrishell Stause's dress.

For an early recap of who's arrived

While we wait for some more of the big guns, here is a photo gallery of the early arrivals.

Elsie Fisher suits up

Eight Grade star Elsie Fisher is flying the flag for "age appropriate" dressing among the under-18 stars but this suit is giving off distinct Violet Beauregarde vibes for mine.

The 'naked dress' lives on

Quick someone check the Kardashians' security system, it seems TV personality Kristin Cavallari has raided Kendall Jenner's collection of "naked dresses".

And if you don't come as a statue ...

Come as the red carpet! Just like Riverdale's Lili Reinhart.

Jamie Lee's poker face

Presenter Jamie Lee Curtis is usually one of our nominees for 'fiercest lady' on the red carpet but this year she putting on a (very tanned) brave face in this white gown that just misses the mark.

Coming as a Golden Globe

There is always a starlet who arrives dressed as the statuettes they're giving away later in the show. This year's gong goes to Lucy Boynton, who looks all kinds of fantastic in this gold number. Hair and make-up is on point too.

#TimesUp tributes appear one year on

We're getting some pictures of the Time's Up tribute on the red carpet. Debra Messing posted a photo to Instagram of the wristbands some stars will be wearing. "A year ago, we embarked on a campaign to create safer work places," she wrote. "We won’t stop fighting until there is gender balance in leadership and all women have opportunity to reach their full potential at work. It’s been a record year for women, with a landmark number elected to Congress and a slew of diverse firsts, but we still have so far to go."

The hosts have arrived

Host Sandra Oh has arrived on the red carpet wearing a white gown by Dontatella Versace. Does this mean we will see a flip from last year's all-black dress code to a dominance of white gowns this year?
