Lady Gaga channels Judy Garland in A Star is Born from the '50s
All eyes are on Lady Gaga and expectations are high for a Golden Globe win for her portrayal of nightclub Ally Campana in A Star is Born. At Fashion Finder, we were much more interested in what the pop diva chose to wear to the red carpet extravaganza.
Perhaps getting inspiration from a similar light blue gown worn by Judy Garland in the in the '50s version of A Star is Born, Valentino chose the color light blue... to which Lady Gaga dyed her hair to match. Whether or not you agree with her hair color choice, there's no denying Lady Gaga's could be the most talked about gown of the evening. The gown was worn with sleeves which tumbled down into an enormous voluminous trailing train.
Lady Gaga has worn Valentino on numerous occasions. Who can forget the equally gargantuan pink feathered gown at A Star is Born premiere at the Venice Film Festival? And she also has worn the billowing off-shoulder black gown from Spring 2019.
