Scooterist assaults woman at Bengaluru's petrol bunk

(Image used for representative purpose only)BENGALURU: A 32-year-old woman was on Thursday assaulted by a man at a petrol bunk after she questioned him for hitting her scooter. CCTV footage of the episode went viral on Sunday.
Shobha, a resident of Kamalanagar, came to a petrol bunk on Siddaiah Puranik Road in Basaveshwaranagar on her two-wheeler. She was waiting for her turn when a scooterist hit her two-wheeler from the rear.
A verbal exchange ensued between the two. When Shobha questioned the man for riding rashly, he assaulted her before leaving the bunk. A woman was riding pillion his scooter. Shobha later filed a police complaint against the accused. Police are searching for him.
