ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) New York City firefighter Steven Pollard was killed on Sunday night after falling from a Brooklyn bridge while responding to a call.

Mayor Bill de Blasio says the 30-year-old firefighter was responding to a car accident on the Mill Basin Brdige when he plunged to his death.

He was taken to Kings County Hospital where he died.
