JEE Main January 2019 Examination is just a week away. Amidst other aspects, one of the critical aspects for aspiring candidates is what to do and what not to in this last week. In other words, the activities to be done & what to be avoided in the last week in order to avoid stress and score good marks in the examination.

Do’s and Don’ts for JEE Main 2019
- Revision: You should only revise what you have studied earlier. Revise and consolidate using mind maps and short notes. Don't read anything new as it will give you unnecessary stress. If you are left with any topic for some reasons, leave it for now - you can improve it in the April session.
- Attempting mock test is good for revision purpose, but do not attempt any mock before 3 days of your scheduled exam date. You can also revise your earlier mock attempts.
- Be confident: You must feel confident about your preparation. You have invested a good amount of time in the preparation. Don’t compare your preparation level with others at this point of time.
- Sync your biological cycle with the scheduled exam time. For the next few days till the exam day, you should have a proper sleep of 7 hours during night time. Avoid studying late at night.
- Do not eat junk food. Eat healthy food and do light physical exercises, it will keep you fresh and active.
- Make sure that you visit the exam centre a day before the exam date.
Do’s and Don’ts for the exam day
- Try meditation for a few minutes.
- Make sure you take the admit card, a passport size photo of yourself (the same photo you used while applying), and one identity proof. Do read the JEE Main Advisories.
- In the exam hall, read the instructions carefully and pay attention to the invigilator instructions.
- Once the exam starts, go through the questions quickly and have a feel of question level.
- Starting answering those section where you feel more confident. Do not get panic if you cannot solve a few questions in stress. If it’s difficult for you it’s difficult for everyone. Believe in yourself and keep solving questions with full concentration.
