| Jan 6, 2019, 05:52 IST
NEW DELHI: On a day when Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Party announced that they have reached an agreement on seat sharing in Uttar Pradesh, BJP president Amit Shah on Saturday appointed key party strategist and Union minister JP Nadda as chief poll in-charge for the most populous state in addition to the recently appointed three co-incharges.

The party had on December 26 appointed Gordhan Zadafia, Narottam Mishra and Dushyant Gautam as poll in-charge for UP for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. However, Nadda will be in-charge for the overall state and he will coordinate with the co-incharges.
