New Delhi: The Congress remains determined to play up the Rafale scam in the Lok Sabha elections as its president Rahul Gandhi mounted yet another tirade on the government for no answer to two simple questions he asked in the Lok Sabha on Friday. He even threatened to launch a criminal investigation into the Rafale deal if the Congress comes to power. In a tweet, he said the PM would be investigated “for weakening national security by giving the Rafale contract to his friend and international debt master Anil Ambani.”
Rahul tweeted: “RM (Raksha Mantri or defence minister) spoke for 2 hrs. in Parliament, but she couldn”t answer the 2 simple questions I asked her.” He circulated with the tweet #2SawalDoJawab his questions in the House and said: “Watch and share this video. Let every Indian ask the PM & his ministers these questions.” Not only Rahul tweeted it but over three dozen senior Congress leaders, including P Chidambaram, Ahmed Patel and Ashok Gehlot, also retweeted the two questions as if they are going to be the prime theme in the poll campaign.
