Heart revival machine at airport

P.K. Sreemathy, MP, inaugurated the automated external defibrillator (AED), a medical device for restoring the heart rhythm of victims of cardiac arrest, at the Kannur International Airport by handing it over to KIAL managing director V. Thulasidas on Saturday. Two AEDs were donated to the airport by Lubnath Shah Memorial Charitable Trust. Dr. Zulfiker Ali and Dr. Santhosh B. conducted a training session for the airport staff on using the AEDs. Trust chairman P. Shahin, secretary Rajith Rajarathnam, and treasurer Rajesh Kumaran were present on the occasion.
