Former Australian spinner Shane Warne took to Twitter to congratulate Kuldeep Yadav, who registered figures of 5/99 in the fourth and final Test at Sydney.

Warne wrote, Well bowled & congrats on your 5 wicket haul @imkuldeep18 also, thankyou for your very kind words - it’s been a pleasure to work with you & watch you bowl my friend ! 👍

Kuldeep responded to the legendary spinner's high praise after the rain affected day finally came to end and said, Means the most coming from you boss! 🙏 Learning from you has made my job easier 😂 Looking forward to all the advise and guidance in the days to come! 💪

Warne has often spoken highly about Kuldeep, and was even seen with him in nets before the first Test in Adelaide. The Australian legend was also seen having a word with head coach Ravi Shastri and bowling coach Bharat Arun. It was later revealed that Warne was asking Kuldeep to keep his straight arm aligned which in turn will allow him to get more fizz in his deliveries.

Kuldeep had called Warne his idol, and said it was a proud moment for him to take a five-for in his presence. This was Kuldeep’s first-five for in an overseas Test but the youngster will certainly remember it for a long time.
