Two partly blind persons killed in accident
tnn | Jan 7, 2019, 04:00 ISTRajkot: Two partly blind persons were killed after being rammed by an unidentified truck on Rajkot-Chotila Highway near Wankaner boundary in Morbi district early morning on Sunday.
The deceased were identified as Vijay Kanjaria (23) and Ravi Dangar (22), both inmates of Andhjan Kalyan Sanstha, an organization for the blind on Gondal Road in Rajkot. Their associate, Parakramsinh Gohel, who too was partly blind, escaped unscathed.
“The trio had embarked on a pilgrimage by foot to Chamunda Mataji Temple in Chotila from Rajkot on Saturday night. We have booked the unidentified truck driver for the crime on the complaint of Jaideep Parekh, a member of Andhjan Kalyan Sanstha,” said an official from Wankaner taluka police station.
