India vs Australia 4th Test Day 4: Bad light, rain hold India at bay in Sydney
India appear to be the favourites to win the 4th Test after Australia were bowled out for 300 in the first innings, still trailing by 322 runs, and were made to follow-on.

This might seem like a scene from an apocalypse movie, but it is not. The scenes at Sydney Cricket Ground looked like this when the play began on Day 4 of the 4th Test between India and Australia. There was a massive storm the previous night, and the rain caused a delay in start to the play. The entire first session was washed out. (Source: AP)

When the play eventually began after Lunch, Mohammed Shami struck early. He dismissed Pat Cummins and India were on the way. (Source: Reuters)

The other well-settled batsman for Australia, Peter Handscomb, was soon after cleaned up by seamer Jasprit Bumrah, sealing the fate of the hosts. (Source: Reuters)

Kuldeep Yadav cleaned up the remaining Aussie batting line-up. Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood stitched a 35-run partnership to take Australia to 300 before Yadav dismissed the latter. (Source: Reuters)

With his two dismissals on Day 4, Kuldeep Yadav completed a much deserved fifer, his second in international Test cricket. (Source: Reuters)

With Australia still trailing by 322 runs, India skipper Virat Kohli enforced the follow-on. It was the first time since 1988 that Australia were asked to follow-on in a home Test. (Source: AP)

Marcus Harris and Usman Khawaja came out to bat for Australia in the second innings. But to much India's dismay, the play could not get off for long as the umpires asked players to return, citing bad light. (Source: Reuters)
