Back in 2014 when TechArt came out with their styling kit for the Porsche 911 (991) Targa, we kind of scoffed at it, mostly because it was painted in a bright lime exterior, which is exactly the same as this car.

Another reason why someone might take issue with this mod is the fact that it was performed on what is arguably the most stylish version of the 911, one that retains a more retro look compared to, say, a regular 911 Carrera Cabriolet.

The body kit is made from carbon fiber and polyurethane, and is comprised of a custom front spoiler with an integrated splitter, rear spoiler and diffuser, side skirts, a new grille piece and light cluster accents.

Compared to the car we saw four years ago, this one, spotted in Monaco by Dreeke, has a black roof pillar with lime green ‘Targa’ lettering. It might also be equipped with the tuner’s noselift system, for an additional 45 mm / 1.77 inches of ground clearance, and valve-controlled sports exhaust, both of which are available alongside the body kit.

As for the interior, it should feature dual-tone leather seats, a custom three-spoke steering wheel, carbon fiber trim accents, aluminum pedals and gear lever, plus a mildly updated gauge cluster.

This is actually the very first time we’ve seen this kit on a 991 Targa in public, and while it is far from being the prettiest 911 ever, maybe it’s not quite as bad as we initially thought. Still, that lime paintjob doesn’t do it much justice – but maybe that’s just us…
