It doesn’t matter what Jurgen Klopp says and how many times he says it, some people will simply refuse to believe that Liverpool won’t sign anyone in January.

Nabil Fekir
Who? So let’s get this one out of the way first.
Nabil Fekir nearly joined Liverpool last summer. He won’t be joining Liverpool in January. But the French international continues to be linked with a move to Anfield.

They reckon Liverpool have approached the Frenchman this month, but perhaps something has been lost in translation.
According to Google, they say: ‘Liverpool approaching the hiring of a Frenchman Nabil poor Olympic lion player.’

Boy, I hope Liverpool don’t sign Fekir.
Abdulkadir Omur
Who? Turkish wonderkid Abdulkadir Omur, that’s who! What do you mean you’ve never heard of him?
The 19-year-old is currently on the books of Trabzonspor and is rated as one of the best talents in Turkey.
Where? The Mirror, but before that Turkish media and seemingly before that English media. So a classic transfer rumour, then.
Omur is rated at around £27m and Manchester City are also said to be interested.
What? Liverpool have scouts all over the world and if Omur is good, chances are the Reds will be aware.
Does that mean that Klopp is going to replace Adam Lallana with an unknown teenager in January? I wouldn’t bet on it.
Christian Pulisic
Who? Come on, you know who. American sensation. Dortmund prospect. Just moved to Chelsea. Yeah, that Christian Pulisic.
Where? ESPN and subsequently a few places, such as 101GreatGoals.
What? Pulisic has ‘explained’ why he choose Chelsea over Liverpool (who didn’t make an offer).
What did he say? “It’s not something I want to talk about. I’m very happy with my decision to join Chelsea.”
