Master Plan of every gram panchayat should be made

Bhopal : January , 2019 : A Master Plan should be made for every gram panchayat. The gram panchayat’s well-planned development should be on the basis of the Master Plan. Panchayat and Rural Development Ministers Kamleshwar Patel said this at the review meeting of departmental schemes.

Nal-Jal Yojanas to have smart meters

It was told at the meeting that the rural Nal-Jal Yojanas will have smart meters. The reading of these meters will be registered directly in the control room. The bills will also be deposited online. With this the Nal-Jal Yojanas will not be affected due to non-payment of electricity bills.

Patel said that the officers who must fulfil the responsibilities that have been entrusted with in public interest. Your work must be visible at the ground level. He told to ensure that facilities should reach the people for which it is meant. Patel said that officials and employees will be honoured for good performance and strict action will be taken for negligence.

The Panchayat and Rural Development Minister said that quality work should be undertaken under Pradhan Mantri Gramin Sadak Yojana. He told to get damaged roads repaired. Quality construction and usefulness of toilets should be ensured. Prompt payment of works that have been completed should be ensured.

State tops in Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana

Patel congratulated the state for acquiring top position in the country in the implementation of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana. Nearly 11 lakh 90 thousand 823 houses have been constructed in Madhya Pradesh against the target of 14 lakh 29 thousand 84 houses. This way 83.33 percent target has been fulfilled which is more than other states. Himachal Pradesh is second in the country with 79.59 percent.

Reviewing the works of the Livelihood Mission, Patel said that full force should be applied in fulfilling the objectives with which the institutions have been formed. He said that there should be an office of the Mission in every block. Additional Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains said that buildings are being constructed in 159 blocks.

Patel told to make a plan beforehand for supply of drinking water in the villages of districts which have witnessed less rainfall. Complete construction of stadiums within the stipulated time.

Panch-Sarpanch Sammelan at division level

The Panchayat and Rural Development Minister told to organize Panch-Sarpanch meetings on division level soon. Additional Chief Secretary Bains said during the meeting that smart classrooms will be made at the training centres. He said that milk is being given to children under the mid-day meal scheme thrice a week. Secretary Panchayat and Rural Development Amit Rathore, Director WALMI Smt. Urmila Shukla and other officers were present at the meeting.
