Final rolls to be published on February 20

The new claims and objections for the draft electoral rolls of Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad- Karimnagar Graduates Constituency/Teachers Constituency and Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teachers constituency will be accepted till January 31, according to Chief Electoral Officer Rajat Kumar.

The draft electoral rolls were published on January 1 as per the schedule announced by the Election Commission of India with November 1, 2018 as the qualifying date for the preparation of electoral rolls in Telangana State. The claims and objections will be disposed of and supplements be prepared and printed by February 15. The final publication of electoral rolls will be published on February 20.

All eligible Graduates/Teachers’ constituencies who have not been enrolled can now file their applications for enrolment, objections and corrections. All the electoral rolls district-wise/polling station-wise were uploaded and could be viewed at www.ceotelangana.nic.in.

The total number of new polling stations in Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Graduates’ constituency after rationalisation is 313 (new 41) and in Medak-Nizamabad-Adilabad-Karimnagar Teachers’ constituency/Warangal-Khammam-Nalgonda Teachers constituency is 434 (new 59), according to a release.
