Man dies in hospital after being found in an Ipswich unit with wound
A man who was taken to hospital after being found with a stomach wound at a unit in Ipswich has died.
Emergency services were called at 9am on Saturday to a unit on Bergin Street at Booval to treat the man.
The 29-year-old was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with life-threatening injuries and died a short time later.
A crime scene has been declared, with scientific and scenes of crime officers processing the scenes and uniform and detectives canvassing the areas.
A man is assisting police with their enquiries.
Investigations continue into the suspicious death.
